Efrain Juarez is a Mexican former international. In youth, he became world U17 champion & thus scored a transfer to FC Barcelona. Later he was further active at several clubs, including Celtic. He started his coaching career at New York City FC, where he became assistant coach between 2020 and 2022. In the 2022-2023 season, he was active as T2 under coach Ronny Deila at Standard. From season 2023-2024, he followed Deila to Blauw-Zwart as assistant coach.
