Antonio Nusa: “My hard work pays off"

Jupiler Pro League

Antonio Nusa got some rest after the matches with his national team Norway, only coming on in the second half and scoring Club's third goal.

"I am happy that I could help the team. I helped making the difference because it was still tied at 2-2. I just dropped the ball in that zone because either someone will come in or the ball will go in. I already had a good feeling when I hit the ball. When I came on the pitch, the coach asked me to help make a difference and to show some positive energy. When I was away with the national team, a lot happened. It's all new to me and it's a lot to process. Soccer is like that, everything can change quickly. I am happy to be here and it shows that my hard work is starting to pay off. I now hope to start against Besiktas on Thursday. I'm looking forward to it and hope to play a good match."

Antonio Nusa decided to stay at Club. "I want to continue growing here, that decision was already made with my family and broker. I'll see what happens in the future. I'm just thinking about the present, my focus is here at Club Brugge and on becoming a better player. The coach listens well to me with everything that happened. We are on the same wavelength. He helps me stay calm and be myself. Communicating also goes well because Norwegian is our mother tongue." (KN)
