This season, the Pro League celebrates its 50th anniversary. To celebrate this half century of history, the Pro League is launching a Hall of Fame. Thanks to its history and trophy cabinet, Club Brugge can put forward 6 candidates. You decide who they will be! In September, the general voting will start with all former players of the different clubs.
Each professional club can put forward a specific number of players from its history to join the Hall of Fame. Thanks to our 19 national titles, Club may select the maximum number of players, namely 6 absolute Club Legends. Who those six top players will be is up to you.
Until August 31, you can vote for your six favorites from a long list of 30 players*. Each supporter can vote once. The six players with the most votes will take part in the general vote in September.
Starting September 10, fans will choose the first 10 Pro League Legends from a list of +/- 50 Pro League greats. After that, 2 new luminaries will be added to the Hall of Fame every year.
So first choose your 6 favorites from the Blue-Black history & from September 10 vote our Club Legends into the real Hall of Fame.
*The 30 selected players had to meet the following criteria from the Pro League:
- The players must have played at least 75 games in first division since 1974.
- The player must no longer be active as a soccer player.
