Club Brugge welcomes Hugo Siquet, summer signing number six. The right full-back already played in Belgium for Standard de Liège and Cercle Brugge. He joins from SC Freiburg on a four-year contract.
The 22-year-old from Liège was formed at Standard where he quickly played for the first team. After a season and a half, the U21 Belgium international moved to German side Freiburg. Last season and a half Siquet played on loan for Cercle.
He already played 87 games in the Jupiler Pro League in which he scored two goals and gave twelve assists.
Siquet now joins Club on a permanent deal, signing a contract until 2028. He joins the rest of the group this week, ahead of Friday's season opener against KV Mechelen.
