Club NXT wins its first match convincingly. It scored four goals against promising KSC Lokeren.
The match started evenly. The visitors from Lokeren had the most ball possession and created the biggest danger. Club NXT was able to counter dangerously. On the half hour it happened. A corner kick by Granados and Lynnt Audoor headed the ball against the ropes.
Granados did fancy another assist. Less than five minutes later, striker Furo was able to score on his pass. Bridge goalkeeper De Corte fulfilled his role as titular player perfectly and prevented two goals against. Just before halftime, Furo tanked some extra confidence by chasing his second against the nets.
The second half was less attractive. We saw more duels and more fouls. With Wylin and Campbell we did get two debutants for NXT. The 4-0 final score was put on the board by Sem Audoor.
So Club NXT starts the new season excellently. Four goals and a clean sheet. Next week La Louvière awaits.
