Club played its second match of this pre-season on a sunny Saturday afternoon. Vanaken, Thiago and Yaremchuk were on the score sheet after this smooth 3-0 win against second divisionist Beerschot.
We had to wait until after the drink break, halfway the first half, for the first big chance, which immediately resulted in the first goal of the afternoon. Seys linked up with Vanaken, who played in Skoras on the right. The summer signing looked up and found Vanaken at the far post to head home the Pole's cross.
The second goal was quite similar. This time it was Rits who whipped in a great cross to the far post towards Thiago and the Brazilian found the net for the first time in blue and black. Roman Yaremchuk played his part in the victory as well. After 15-year-old Jesse Bisiwu was played in down by Odoi, the academy player feeded the ball to Yaremchuk and the Ukrainian fired it home.
Club wins his second friendly comfortably with 3-0 and starts the summer training camp in The Netherlands on Monday.
