For a short time it seemed like substitute Maxim De Cuyper was going to save the day for Club, but in the end the visitors had to admit the better team claimed the three points.
"I can't be dissatisfied with my performance, particularly since it wasn't in my usual position. And even if I scored a beautiful goal, that doesn't really help us in the end."
Just like Simon Mignolet De Cuyper felt like more was in it at the Dudenpark: "We haven't created all that many chances in the first half, but seeing it all from the bench, I still feel like more was in it. But ball loss cost us dearly. At half time, our coach asked us to put more drive in our game, and to apply higher pressure, and I reckon we reacted well. It's bitter, however, that we conceded a second goal." (MV)
