Nicky Hayen remaining at Club Brugge: it was bound to happen, and it has now become reality.
Hayen (43) has been at Club Brugge since 2022, first as Club NXT coach and assistant to the seniors under Rik De Mil for several months in 2023, and then taking over as head coach ad interim at the Club Seniors in March of this year. Under his leadership, Club completed an unprecedented run in the Play-Offs, culminating in the team's 19th national league title. The winning team in Hayen, Milkon and Jonckheere, will remain in charge of Club's seniors next season.
Taking over at Club NXT, Robin Veldman (38) will also remain with Club next season. The Dutchman signed a contract for an indefinite period.
