"It doesn't always have to be in a beautiful way. Today we played away in Leuven, which is always a tough match," the goalkeeper reflected. "It was a very closed game, very tactical as well. They played well-organized and tried to exploit the space behind our defense. We anticipated on that."

For Club, this marks their third win in a row. "I'm very pleased with the clean sheet, with the three points we’re bringing home, and thus nine out of nine. Matches like today’s are necessary if you want to become champions, although of course it’s way too early to say anything about that. Achieving nine out of nine after a challenging away game, managing to secure the win in such a match – then the team deserves credit," he said before disappearing into the dressing room, undoubtedly with the upcoming Champions League match against Aston Villa on Wednesday in mind.
