Vincent Mannaert bids final farewell to Club Brugge

Vincent Mannaert leaves the Board of Directors of Club Brugge. Chairman Bart Verhaeghe acquires the shares from Vincent Mannaert.

Chairman Bart Verhaeghe, ex-CEO Vincent Mannaert, Jan Boone and Peter Vanhecke together make up Grizzly Sports NV, the majority shareholder within Club Brugge. Chairman Bart Verhaeghe is now buying the shares of Vincent Mannaert. Mannaert, CEO of Club between 2011 and 2024 is also leaving Club's Board of Directors. New CEO Bob Madou will be part of the renewed Board of Directors.

Furthermore, the shareholder structure with, besides Grizzly Sports NV, Orkila Capital, Dirk Van Tornhout and the Tielt Connection remains unchanged.

Chairman Bart Verhaeghe: "Vincent stood with me at the cradle of the current Club Brugge. I look back on the past years with a warm feeling. After Vincent previously announced his retirement as CEO, this is a logical next step. He will always be welcome at Club. By acquiring Vincent's own shares we are strengthening the Club's Flemish anchoring."

Vincent Mannaert: "It was an honor to lead Club Brugge as CEO for 13 years. So with the sale of the shares, I now bid a final farewell. I cherish the many unforgettable memories and wish my successors, and by extension the entire Club, every success."
